MKB LUMP CRUSHER

In 2014 the company PAUL GROTH Mühlenbau GmbH & Co. KG took over the complete delivery program and the sale of spare parts from the company MANCON.
Your contact at PAUL GROTH is still Mr Geric (contact).

Whenever agglomerates and lumps in the food and chemical industry need to be eliminated and milled, MANCON's MKB series lump crushers are sought. By means of slicing and grating they mill dry, brittle to slightly moist starting products into the desired final grain size. Thanks to its modular construction MANCON's lump crushers can be easily integrated into existing production lines or used as stand-alone devices.

AREAS OF USE

  • Reduction of grain size
  • Milling after emptying of big bags and sacks
  • Milling prior to pneumatic transportation
  • Milling prior to mixing
  • Milling of filter cakes
  • Milling of broken goods and goods for reworking

FUNCTIONALITY

The clumped and hardened bulk goods are fed into the lump crusher through the inlet using gravity. The rotor blades rotate, press the product through a grating sieve and mill the agglomerates to the desired final grain size.

STANDARD VERSION

  • Extremely stable construction with no dead space
  • Material: stainless steel 1.4301
  • Surface design: glass bead blasted
  • Grating sieves with hole sizes from 2 to 20 mm
  • Large openings for cleaning and inspection
  • Shaft sealing as a result of packing glands that can be adjusted externally
  • Adjustable refiner gap between the rotor blades and the grating sieve

OPTIONS

  • Design for explosive atmospheres in accordance with ATEX directives
  • A refiner gap between the rotor blades and the grating sieve that can be adjusted externally
  • Pressure surge protected design
  • Shaft sealing with air flushing / barrier gas
  • Bilateral rotor bearing
  • Surface finish: glass bead blasted to highly polished
  • Special dimensions and specialist designs
  • Design for specialist temperature ranges
  • CIP cleaning system
  • Material: stainless steel 1.4571, construction steel RSt-37, other materials on request
  • Various sizes and capacities
  • Travelling mechanism, control unit, inlet and outlet funnel, adapter pieces (round to square)

THE BENEFITS FOR YOU

  • Smaller fine grain proportion by arranging the rotor blades in a special fashion
  • No additional sieving of coarse material is required
  • Quicker and simpler replacement of the grating sieve
  • Low peripheral speed for the gentlest milling
  • Highest requirements in terms of hygiene and ease of cleaning
  • High efficiency and an extremely good price-performance ratio
